It is my understanding that the nutshell was clear about no basketball nets in common areas. There has been one residing around the 3600-3700 block for several months now. While I love the fact that children are outside getting exercise, I have a hard time with the trash left behind daily, the noise, the non-residents hopping the fence to use our areas, and the overall lack of compliance with HOA rules. The basketball and other field balls being played with by often more than 10 kids at a time come very close to hitting residents' cars, and the kids do not seem concerned with the property around them. There is also no parental supervision. There are plenty of grassy areas and a court for kids to drag the net to, but it does not belong in a cul-de-sac taking up parking spaces and jeopardizing homeowner's peace and quiet and property. I know other residents have called about this. Please take care of this promptly or I will be forced to question the seriousness of this association and its monthly fees.
Respectfully,
An Annoyed WRE Homeowner

I agree with your concern. But, the grassy common areas are full of dog waste or trash, etc. This entire place could be nice but there is no upkeep. They cut the grass in the common areas, poorly and unsafely. They whip around without paying attention to their surroundings and just run over trash, cutting it spewing it everywhere.
I saw home owners figure out a way to with hold the association fee, not sure if legal or possible to put it in escrow until something is done.
Why they collect a fee is beyond me, it's disgusting, no uniformity, no rules enforced, etc.

There is a huge orange commercial vehicle(Horizon)parked in front of a house in our development. I thought commercial vehicles are not allowed. The same rules should apply to everyone. Who enforces the rules & regulations of WRE?
