First I will acknowledge this was a huge snowstorm however, I don't believe the service we received is worth the money we are paying. The contractor was in the 2300-2400 section around 3 am Saturday morning and again at 9 AM. I thought maybe they would return later in the day but I suppose the storm was too bad. Even I only went out in the morning to shovel my sidewalk and steps. Then I believe I heard the truck in here around 4 AM Sunday morning, To my surprise they only came thru the center (what they thought was the center of the section one time. You know I am aware that we are responsible for shoveling our sidewalk, steps and around our cars however I did not expect to have to shovel 6 feet behind my car to get to the street. That was a lot of work for those of us who do not have a snowblower and/or plow. I have not seen a plow in here all day. I sure hope they are coming back to salt tonight. You really should think about getting someone else in here.

The 1000 section is wondering where our snow removal service is as well. A call was placed to Angela today but her voicemail box is full and isn't accepting calls. There needs to be a meeting for homeowners. The lack of communication regarding serious issues within the community is no longer acceptable. It doesn't appear as though the fire hydrants were flagged before the storm either. Ours is completely buried which we'll have to take care of as well. If our area isn't clear by tomorrow we'll be looking into paying a private service and will deduct it from our dues.

I cannot believe the lack of plowing and clean-up done in this development as a result of this past snowstorm!! I understand Saturday was near impossible to keep up with, but what about yesterday and today! Nothing!!! That is just not acceptable! Friday we were told to park in tightly so the plows could get in at the ends of the streets to clear thoroughly - that was a joke and a complete waste of time! Besides being dangerous for 2 cars passing each other, one can't walk their dog anywhere w/o creating one's own path, in 2 plus feet of snow. The streets are not plowed as they should be, they're not salted or safe at all and the paths to walk on, off of the streets, haven't been touched!! So tonight I fell, was forced into a snowbank so I didn't get hit and this is what I'm paying dues for??? I am not sue-happy, but Something better be done tomorrow or you will hear from many other annoyed and irritated residents just on my block alone who are prepared to file a formal grievance!
